In the technology center of your planet, you can research new technologies and further develop existing ones to enhance your economic and military capabilities. Research is a central element in the game and provides you with strategic advantages.
There are a total of 7 research areas, each represented as a research tree.
Each tree begins with a main technology (top node) that leads you to further sub-technologies.
Some technologies include so-called modules, chassis, and turrets.
These are not automatically unlocked with the technology.
Some technologies grant bonuses, such as:
The bonus increases with each level of the respective technology.

Discoverable only by a specific race.
These technologies allow for specialization and special game strategies.
When starting research, you can specify how many cycles you wish to carry out.
More cycles = higher overall chance of success
